DEAR EDITOR,
It’s good to see the main opposition PNCR leading the way with all the other so-called opposition parties calling for lie-detector tests to be administered on Government ministers.
How nice to see them co-operating with each other on issues like wanting CARICOM States to get involved in Guyana’s internal affairs.
How nice to see them calling on Government to come clean and say what it knows about the Roger Khan issue.
These poor opposition groups are trying their utmost best to bring down a democratically elected Government.
They are so transparent that even the blind could see their motives.
Let’s call for lie detector tests to be administered on all opposition party members.
Let’s ask all opposition party members to come clean and tell us who are in bed with criminals.
Let’s ask Raphael Trotman if race did not play a part in getting rid of Gaumattie Singh from his party in favour of someone else.
Let’s ask opposition members like Robert Corbin and Hamilton Green to account for those 200 or more missing army weapons.
Let’s ask Corbin and Green why Rodney was blown to bits and pieces from a hand-held explosive device.
It’s also nice to see Trotman following Corbin in calling this Government dictatorial.
Once again, all must be reminded that this Government can not be dictatorial because the likes of Corbin, Trotman and others have free media to vent their crap.
If this duly elected Government was dictatorial, then the likes of Corbin, Trotman and the others would have had to use their visas already. Or those who don’t have visas would be using the back-track routes. PNCR members know a thing or two about dictatorial Government.
Guyana’s Government is more tolerant with its opposition than any other country, as far as most people know.
From 1962 to 1992 we all know and must never forget what dictatorship is.
We must never forget the brutal dictatorship, illegal Government of PNC’s Forbes Burnham and Desmond Hoyte. We did not call for lie detector tests then. Did we?
