Demerara under-19 batsman Ballinder Shivpersaud was presented with a set of cricket gear from businessman Feroze Barakat as a reward for making the National under-19 twenty-man training squad which is preparing for next month’s TCL West Indies under-19 cricket series in Barbados.
Shivparsaud, who play for Zeeburg in West Demerara’s cricket, collected a bat, a pair of batting gloves, a pair of batting pads, and a gear bag all valued at $90,000.
