Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday remanded an 18-year-old man after he appeared before her on a charge of robbery under arms.
The accused, Rolston Row, on June 2, while being armed with a gun, robbed Juliet Mc Rae of two gold chains worth $58,000 and two gold bands worth $160,000, total value $280,000.
Before the charge was read, the Magistrate informed the accused that the charge is indictable and as such he would not be required to plead.
Row is expected to make his next court appearance on June 23.
