The third edition of the Second Ground Entertainment / Extra Beer Ballers in the Summer Street knock-out football tournament is set to kick off this evening at the Pouderoyen Tarmac with fourteen (14) matches.
Teams are battling for a first prize of $400,000, second is $150,000 with $75,000 and $50,000 set aside for third and fourth places.
Following tonight’s action, matches will continue on August 9th, 11th, 13th and 18th, respectively.
A total of 32 teams, the best in this format of the game in Guyana, are contesting for the top accolades including one Trip Motor Cycle. Fans can also look forward to lots of Extra Beer giveaways during the course of the tournament.
Sponsors of the tournament are Extra Beer, Extra Juice, Two Brothers Gas Station, West Vibz Sports Bar, Forrester Lumber Yard, Wayne Tire Shop, Oswin Jones Auto Imports, National Sports Commission.
