Having won the Legends title in the recently concluded New York Softball Cricket League, Floodlights the official team of the Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) have now set their sights on the Toronto Cup 2.
The Toronto Cup 2 will be played on August 4, 5 and 6 in Canada and a release from the GFSCA stated that the team will be looking to become the only side to win four titles in a succession, having won the Guyana Softball Cup 6″ (Nov. 2016), Orlando Premier League (March 2017 in Florida) and NYSCL Legends cup (July 2017 in New York).
Floodlights were runners-up in 2015 at “Toronto Cup 1”.
The squad reads; Ricky Deonarain (Capt.) , Ramo Malone (V/Capt), Uniss Yusuf, Lloyd Ruplall, Ravi Lutchman, Jagdish Persaud, Tulshi Lutchman, Neraj Narad, Pooran Singh, Huks Lutchman, Ago Gopaul, Kenrick Persaud, Jailall Deodass, Pithamber Maharaj and Ramesh Sunich.
