With the aim of staging its Open league soon and other age category competitions, the Linden Amateur basketball Association (LABA) has planned a meeting for this evening from 18.30hrs at the Mackenzie Sports Club pavilion.
The meeting will be chaired by LABA President Lawrence Simon and will be looking at the promotion of this year’s Open League where they are in discussion with the Mackenzie Sports Club Management in relation to collaborating to have this important championship staged jointly this year at the MSC hard court.
Secretary of the LABA, Joe Chapman, reported that yesterday the proposal for this Open League was to be presented to the MSC Management Committee, which met at Shangahi’s Residence for a retreat to deal with their own plans for this year.
