Berbice Cricket Board Senior 50-over competition continues this weekend

The Competitions Committee of the Berbice Cricket Board has announced its fixtures for Sunday 25th June, 2017 with four matches scheduled to be contested at venues around the County.
The Albion Cricket Club will do battle against Young Warriors Cricket Club at the Albion Community Center, Port Mourant Cricket Club will be hosted by Blairmont Cricket Club at the Blairmont Community Center, West Berbice Cricket Association and Bush Lot will compete at Bush Lot Community Center, Tucber Park will engage Police Cricket Club at the Port Mourant Community Center and Rose Hall Estate Cricket Club will meet hosts Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club at the Area H Ground, in Rose Hall Town.
The competition is played in the fifty (50) over format, and contested by 12 first division teams in the county. Teams are mandated to play on a round robin basis in their respective zones before qualifying for the next round of competition. Two Teams from each of the two zones will qualify for the quarter final stage.
Matches are scheduled to start at 09:30 hrs and teams are encouraged to be punctual, since penalties are attached for lateness and other forms of negligence.
