BREAKING NEWS: Teenage girls helped murder retired professor
– Six Sophia youths detained, stolen items recovered
Two teenage girls helped three of their male friends to beat, bind and strangle 75-year-old retired professor, Pairadeau Mars, at his Lot 395 Bissessar Street, Prashad Nagar home last night.

The shocking truth was revealed late last night after police captured the entire six-member gang, who reside in Sophia.
Kaieteur News understands that detectives have recovered several items that the young killers had carted off from their victim’s home.
The suspects have reportedly admitted to the crime—five of the youths reportedly murdered the man while the sixth was the taxi driver. He was found with some of the stolen items in his possession.
The girls are aged 15 and 17 while the eldest of the males is 18.
Police are likely to find fingerprints and other forensic evidence at the crime scene since the youths allegedly ate and consumed beverages in their victim’s house. They may also glean further evidence from CCTV cameras in the area.
One of the girls had reportedly lived a few houses from Mars but has since moved. She allegedly frequented the area and would occasionally stop at the remigrant’s home to beg for money.
The bound body of Mars, who had lectured at a Michigan, USA University, was discovered by his wife around 19:00 hrs last night after she returned home from Linden. He was rushed to a private hospital where he was pronounced dead.
