Demerara Distillers Limited has once again thrown their support behind the Guyana Amazon Warriors with the El Dorado brand as the official spirit partner for the second consecutive year.
This year, the beverage giant has widened their support to include Gatorade being the official sports drink of the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
DDL is already a Major Partner of the CPL T20, with El Dorado Rum being the official spirit of the CPL T20.
At the formal signing ceremony CPL OPCO Team Operations Manager, Omar Khan, said that the Guyana Amazon Warriors were delighted to partner with DDL and more so El Dorado which as we all know is one of Guyana’s best known product both regionally and internationally.
Mrs. ShardaVeeren-Chand, Marketing Director of Demerara Distillers Limited, noted that El Dorado is already a major partner of the Hero CPL T20. ”CPL T20 continues to grow as one of the largest cricketing events on our calendar. The CPLT20 captures the spirit of who we are as a Caribbean people. We get an opportunity to see some of the World’s Greatest Players competing in what is now the World’s Biggest Party in Sport. We could not miss this opportunity to join the celebration with the World’s Best Rum, El Dorado!”
The CPL T20 Tournament opens in Barbados on June 20 with the Guyana Amazon Warriors going up against the Barbados Tridents. The Warriors then play against the St. Lucia Zouks in St. Lucia. The games come to Guyana from July 15 to July 21 and tickets are already on sale at the CPL Middle Street Offices in Georgetown.
This year El Dorado is giving fans an opportunity to join the celebration by winning tickets to all local matches by scratching the back label of any El Dorado 750mL product. Two lucky winners will also win a trip to Trinidad and Tobago to see the finals on July 26. There are also hundreds of other El Dorado prizes to be won.
