Ramo Malone led Savage Masters to two victories against Floodlight X1 last Friday under lights at the DCC ground in Queenstown in two 10 overs, Over-40 softball cricket matches.
In the first match, Malone hammered 63 and got support from Randolph Perreira who made an unbeaten 20 and Nadir Baksh who chipped in with 18 to lead Savage Masters to 140-3 off their allotted 10 overs.
Floodlight X1 could only reach 91-3 when their 10 overs expired despite 30 not out from Ricky Deonarine and 27 from Greg De Franca as Shawn Comacho took 2-16 for Savage Masters who won by 49 runs.
In the second match, Floodlight X1 reached 102-9 with Budnah Persaud top scoring with 18 as Malone grabbed 3-21 and got back-up from Perreira 2-13 and Bhowanie Ramotar 2-22.
In reply Savage Masters romped to a seven-wicket win by reaching 104-3 with two balls to spare with Mohamed Rafeek scoring 32 and the consistent Malone getting an undefeated 19.
