The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/Carib Beer first-division T20 tournament commences today with two matches from 13:30hrs. Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will host Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) with Cyril Garnath and Ashook Brijcoomar as the umpires while Malteenoes SC will entertain Transport SC with Edward Bowen and Javed Persaud in charge.
The Noble House Sea Foods second-division two-day tournament continues tomorrow with several matches. DCC will stay at home to GYO (Leyland Liverpool and Heuvel Cunha), Everest will journey to GNIC (Brijcoomar and Layne), Malteenoes SC will host Diplomats (Randolph Rose and Joseph Jeffery), Sophia will travel to University of Guyana (Javed Persaud and Daniel Richmond) and Muslim Youth Organisation will entertain Georgetown Cricket Club (Garnath and Reginald Grant).
