Javano Luiz of Berbice was adjudged the Most Outstanding Goalkeeper. Trayon Bobb of West Demerara and Sherwin Lewis of Berbice tied for being the highest goal scorers with 7 goals each. Trayon Bobb was adjudged the MVP in the Tournament. East Bank was named as the Fair Play Team.
Berbice placed 3rd after defeating Linden.
A total of 58 goals was scored, 8 teams participated.
Meanwhile, in other football news, only one game is left to complete the 1st Round of the GFF Super League and that is scheduled for Sunday May 30 at 2:00pm at the GFC Ground between Camptown and Liquid Gold.
If Liquid Gold is to make the top 8 the must not lose against Camptown. Liquid Gold are on 7 points and Top XX is on 8 points and a loss for Liquid Gold will certainly see them out but a draw or a win will see them through.
If the points, Goal Difference & Goals Scored are all the same then the head to head clash of the 2 teams will come into play. In their clash Liquid Gold defeated Top XX. In recent games, Top XX lost to Camptown 3 – 1 and Milerock defeated Victoria Kings 3 nil at the MSC ground in Linden.
