The Bank of Nova Scotia has continued its strong support for sports in Guyana by making a valuable contribution to the International Indoor Hockey Festival which begun yesterday, at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
A regular sponsor of junior sports programmes including past support for hockey’s own junior development programme, Scotia Bank has once again revealed its interest in community development through sport in Guyana.
Manager of Products and Marketing of Scotia Bank, Mrs. Jennifer Cipriani-Nelson, expressed the Company’s interest in supporting genuine events that encourage young people to be engaged in meaningful exercises in this case hockey.
Upon receiving the donation, Guyana Hockey Board’s Vice President, Rawl Davson, expressed the Board’s gratitude to Scotia Bank for their contribution to the Festival and to their support of junior hockey throughout the years.
